With the Participation of more than 27 Government Entities, State Audit Institution Implements a Training Program on Administrative and Financial Investigation into Cases of Public Funds and Public office

     State Audit Institution is implementing the training program "Administrative and Financial Investigation into Cases of Public Funds and Public Office" for the first group in Muscat Governorate, during December (2 -3) at the Movenpick Hotel Muscat, with wide participation of legal employees from more than 27 government entities from the units of the state’s administrative apparatus.

        The opening of the program was patronized by Shabib bin Nasser Al-Busaidi, Director General of Legal Works, in the presence of a number of SAI specialists. The lectures in the program will be delivered by Dr. Mohammed Al-Shuaili from the Supreme Court, Khalfan Al-Mawali from the Public Prosecution, and Dhiyab Al-Shanfari from State Audit Institution.

        The program covers several topics, including reviewing the types of crimes related to public office and public funds, and explaining the legal aspects of violations, administrative investigations and their judicial applications, in addition to introducing participants to the procedures for administrative investigations into cases related to public office or public funds, as well as criminal investigation procedures in the cases of financial and administrative violations. The program will also include a number of practical sessions, discussion sessions and review of a number of practical cases.
