Combating and Preventing Corruption
In the conviction that combating corruption is of importance, the government of the Sultanate of Oman has issued the Royal Decree No. 64/2013 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, reflected the keenness of the Sultanate to cooperate with the international community to eliminate all forms of corruption offences. The State Audit Institution has been mandated to undertake the mission of the Anti- Corruption Commission and follow-up the implementation of the Convention. Thus, SAI is striving to coordinate with the competent authorities to follow up the implementation of the aforementioned convention to ensure that the Sultanate implements its international obligations in this regard.
