State Audit Institution Participates in the Symposium "The Independence of Supreme Audit Institutions" and the Workshop "Mediation to Increase the Level of Support for Supreme Audit Institutions in the ARABOSAI Region"

State Audit Institution participates in a symposium on “The Independence of Supreme Audit Institutions”, hosted by the Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Morocco, and organized by the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) in cooperation with the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), on June 3-4, with the participation of representatives of supreme audit institutions and Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and other relevant parties such as development partners.

      The symposium aims to review a number of topics seeking to exchange experiences and expertise between supreme audit institutions and parliaments with the aim of supporting the independence of SAIs in the ARABOSAI region.

      State Audit Institution also participates in the Workshop entitled “Mediation to Increase the Level of Support for Supreme Audit Institutions”, on June 5-6, with the participation of representatives of SAIs in the ARABOSAI region and development partners.

      The Workshop aims to link the available sources of support with the development plans of SAIs, and to proactively identify resources as well as to enhance the strategic partnerships between development partners and supreme audit institutions, in addition to enhancing coordination and support for the role of SAIs as part of supporting public financial management systems in the ARABOSAI countries.
