State Audit Institution Participates in the 26th UN/INTOSAI Symposium

State Audit Institution participates in the 26th UN/INTOSAI Symposium on the theme: “Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 13 on climate action: role, contribution and experience of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs)”, which is held in the Conference Center in Vienna, in the Republic of Austria, during the period (16-18) of this April, with broad international participation from the member SAIs of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

The symposium agenda included discussion of SAIs’ practices in auditing climate change impact, and review of the most successful means aimed at providing appropriate conditions for auditing climate change, as well as discussion of how economic and effective the financial and economic policies are in addressing the risks resulting from climate change.
